ABOUT OUR PASTOR
Bishop David S. Reed Sr. has been pastoring the Upper Room Apostolic Church for over 40 years. At the start of the worldwide pandemic, Bishop was afflicted with COVID-19. During his time on the ventilator, God gave him a vision and a mission to warn the people. Through this experience his book "Back with a Message" was birth. Bishop Reed is committed to spreading the message of Jesus and His Redemption Power to the world.
MISSION STATEMENT
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. - Acts 2:38
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. - Mark 16:15
It is our mission to reach lost souls for the express purpose of bringing them to Christ, thereby building his kingdom. For we believe it is God’s desire that all men be saved. We will endeavor to assist our community through prayer, spiritual education, and other means which we may be capable of rendering
We will follow the commands of Christ by:
Presenting the plan of Salvation clearly and precisely, according to the Scriptures.
By demonstrating brotherly kindness and Godly love to all mankind.
By maintaining Sound Doctrine.
By living a life of Godliness and Holiness before all mankind.
We will endeavor to fulfill this mission and extend an invitation to every man of every creed through the power of Jesus Christ.
